Project title: Development of a Sex-Specific Disaster Impact and Recovery Assessment Instrument

Project description:
This project aims a survey data collection to develop and validate a gender-sensitive needs
assessment instrument for rehabilitation and rebuilding during post-disaster.
 

Research design and data collection:
The project involves a census and a household survey composing Proxy Mean Test (PMT)
and Consumption Expenditure Modules (among other demographic and socio-economic
variables).

Results and policy lessons:
The result is private to the client.
 

Survey Details:
Survey Area:
Any disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh like Sylhet, Bandarban, Coxs Bazar etc. 100 unions will be
selected from the selected districts.

Sample size:
Census of 2,000 households, 16 KIIs and 3 FGDs.
