Suraia Akhter Iva

Sharia Akhter Iva is currently working as a Field Manager  Evaluation and Consulting Services (ECONS) Ltd. She passionate self-starter and highly motivated Master of Public Administration, the University of Manitoba, and Master of Development Studies from the International University of Bangladesh with significant skills in project management, policy implementation, sectoral analysis, stakeholder liaison, and administration. Enjoys the challenges of problem-solving and implementing a new idea. Looking forward to working in an environment where my work has some positive impact on society.

As a policy and program development analyst, He assists in conducting research and analysis relating to the general administration of the apprenticeship and certification system in support of branch priorities and activities, also assisting in achieving the objectives of the Apprenticeship and Certification Board.

Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is an economics research firm; they conduct research and provide policy options that discover and promote practical solutions to global poverty problems. They also conduct trials on gender issues in the readymade garments sector. She was hired to lead the communication and administrative work. She was worked with IPA for close to 6 years, and from then, my work made it possible to contribute four significant studies in behavioral and developmental economics dealing with women empowerment and worker productivity. I joined as an associate field manager and was promoted twice in the senior field and administrative manager.
