Ahmed Mushfiq Mobarak

Professor of Economics, Yale University

I have worked with Alamgir Kabir since 2007. I was looking for a dedicated, professional, and reliable research team to support the data collection for a large-scale randomized controlled trial designed to encourage seasonal migration and tackle seasonal poverty. The research design and the interventions were complex and the geographic area where the study was implemented was agrarian and remote. Apart from collecting quality data on a complex set of outcomes, a major challenge was to market a novel intervention to encourage seasonal migration to poor families in the study area.

Alamgir and his team did a wonderful job in training the implementation partner, managing every aspect of the research, and collecting high-quality data. Alamgir has proven himself to be very hardworking and responsive time and again.

I thank Alamgir and his team for delivering a great project and for a wonderful working experience together.
