Project timeline: 2015 – 2016
Project description: The study carried out face-to-face interviews with more than 2600 households for collecting data on coastal vulnerability and livelihood security (CVLS) in Bangladesh. The project started in 2015 and the fieldwork that was conducted both in urban and rural areas required a high level of reliability in the data collection process. In addition to socioeconomic and demographic data, the survey team also collected the geolocation of the households and their soil and water samples. The survey implementation for this project was tricky and time-consuming as it required to match the sample with another 15-year-old nationally representative survey (Household Income and Expenditure Survey-2600).
