Bundling maternal and mental health for women to improve their labor market outcome
We are supporting Professor Shyamal Chowdhury and Professor Valentina Duque of the University of Sydney, and Professor Victoria Baranov of the University of Melbourne to evaluate a government delivered maternal health program. The researchers will add a mental health intervention on top of the government health package and benchmark this package against a regular maternal cash transfer program. The project will work with multiple ministries of the government.
