Dr. Muhammad Ala Uddin is the Chairman of the Anthropology department of University of Chittagong. He received his PhD with full bright scholarship program in 2011 in Anthropology from Osaka University, Japan. Professor Uddin’s areas of current research interest include Indigenous people, migration, Linguistic Discrimination, bio-diversity, peace and conflict. He has published widely in professional journals both in Bangladesh and abroad, and has authored books and monographs in areas of interest and expertise. He also presented his publication in several international conferences.
